We Need The Gold Standard

What currency holds more value then gold? Gold was the main method we used to measure wealth and the concept of its origin. Now since gold has lost its trademark value we resort to printing more paper money and lean towards the foundation of what we call "equity" or future investments, money, etc.

Now since we got rid of the gold standard we have gotten ourselves in a financial catastrophe and chaos around the world. If you look back in our history this world was built off of gold which was the only reliable currency in those times.  Countries built empires and massive kingdoms which was a measurement of their wealth. Before we were digging for oil we were digging for gold in hopes of increasing our wealth.

Leave it up to Wall Street in which they created their credit is debit foundation to measure a person's purchasing power. That devalues the measurement of wealth. In the long run what that did for our country is label our people as the "have or have not" "rich or poor". Soon there wont be any middle class in the route we are going its either you have it or you don't.

Instead of trying to rewrite or create our history of currency why not bring back the gold standard in order for banks and other financial institutions to be stabilized. Remember the saying, "If it is not broke then why fix it." Bringing back the gold standard would be a great step towards rebuilding our economy all over the world.
